What’s New in FINPACK

Fall 2025 Updates

General

  • Fixed issue in some data entry areas where pasting a value from the calculator did not work.
  • Added Quinoa to the crop list.
  • Added “Agritourism expense” and “Agritourism income” to the default chart of accounts for an agriculture file.
  • Added expenses for Insecticide, Fungicide, and Herbicide to the default chart of accounts for an agriculture file.
  • Added a setting in Tools + Options to show or hide the “Prepared by” footer on all reports.

FINPACK+

  • Added “FINPACK+ primary contact” as a variable in Presentations.

Detailed Balance Sheet

  • Increased length of the Description field to 40 characters for detail in breeding livestock, land, and several personal asset accounts.

Tax Forms / Income Statement

  • Added detail for “Other income” line in the 1040 tax form.

Balance Sheet Trend Reports

  • Added line for “change in working capital” to several of the standard reports.

Financial Analysis Trend Reports

  • Added checklist box for choosing years from multiple analyses.

C & I Business Analysis (commercial)

  • Added an average column to the Executive Summary.
  • Updated RMA Annual Statement Studies data for 2025-26.

Cash Flow Projection (FINFLO – commercial)

  • Added a line to the “Projected Change in Equity” section in the Executive Summary to account for various changes in personal equity.

Commercial Real Estate Analysis

  • Added Nonrecurring income and Nonrecurring expense to the data entry.
  • Fixed issue with the maximum loan to value stress factor so it displays as a percentage rather than a decimal.

Detailed Balance Sheet (collateral analysis)

  • On the output, added a summary table showing loan to value, collateral coverage ratio, and collateral coverage margin for both discounted or net value and market value less prior liens.

Presentations

  • Fixed issue with tax form attachment options where selected years would not save if there
    were multiple attached tax forms of the same form type.
  • Format Collateral Analysis section to match Collateral Analysis output.
  • For trend report attachments, allow user to choose years from multiple analyses.
