FINPACK Training for Producers & Educators

Learn FINPACK from the people who created FINPACK

Our fast moving training sessions use a case farm approach to give participants hands-on experience, covering all of the components of FINPACK.  You will evaluate the case farm's financial situation, explore alternatives, recommend management strategies, and project financial outcomes. 

Learn to use

• Balance sheets
• Financial analysis (FINAN)
• Budgets
• Long range planning (FINLRB)
• Monthly cash flow planning (FINFLO)
• Annual cash flow planning (Annual Plan)
• Ratio analysis

We ask those who attend these training sessions to bring a laptop computer with an external mouse. If your laptop is less than 5 years old, it will most likely work with FINPACK (that is, it should have Windows 7, Vista or XP). If you are unable to bring a laptop, contact the Center for Farm Financial Management and a laptop can be provided for a fee.
